To be fair, there was a bit of hype about Floyd fighting Cotto before... but since Marg beat him it has been more about him and Pacman. I think he would UD Margarito (Baldomir style)... and Either UD or late TKO Cotto... but Cotto would be a tougher fight than Marg, and it wouldn't be easy for him believe me... as people said above "styles make fights".Comment

Not he is not, his more like a steve nash or a John Stockton. Good offensive Players but not enough offense to be called a great offensive player!!!!!!!!! Same as Floyd. He have good offense, but is not near the beat offensive fighter, thats absurd!!!!!!!!Last edited by Ch@mpBox@PR; 01-08-2009, 05:12 PM.Comment

This is the one thing i dont like about certain floyd fans. They say "would" a lot or "think"
"floyd would beat cotto and margarito" "i think cotto may be a tough fight but floyd will still knock him out"
At the end of the day we don't know. Its easy to say he would, but in the end it be nice to see him actually do it so we all can stop guessing.Comment

he did, but he didnt effectively...throwing arm punches not planting your feets and using your weight with em is useless against elite fighters...you can look good for a while and pile up some points but youll end up tired, like he did. Fighters like Floyd can exploit this flaw effectively by fighting in the pocket and backing you up constantly, if you lose your effectiveness in your punches youre no longer a threat.Comment

When everything is said and done, Floyd will be the Pound for Pound #1 would've fighters of all time. The need for Floyd nuthuggers to justify his avoiding top challengers is great and they do a good at convincing themselves that the fights are already written in stone. Ridiculous.Comment
