he was not running backwards.. he threw a combo, he moved, he threww a combo he moved... i agree they were arm punches.. but that doesnt mean your not fighting backwards.

Cotto will definetly have moments but he is too easy to hit and makes too many mistakes to beat Floyd...He doesnt clinch..he doesnt have good defense...he cant dodge uppercuts..and he doesnt see right hands....Cotto can win rounds but he will be stopped late.

Floyd beats Cotto outside or inside..hes the best offensive fighter in the sport and the best inside fighter....

He could stay outside at 5-9 with a longer reach and make Cotto pay or he can take him inside make him miss and win....or he could do it off the ropes..I like Cotto..I really do..but in no way will he beat Floyd he will come close but fall short.

I can see a couple of your points, but Floyd doesnt have the power to KO Cotto, nor he is a presure fighter. The only way you can beat Cotto is if you are bigger and presuring him to death. And Floyd is or will do neither. If Foyd beats Cotto it will be by D. No way Floyd can put presure on Cotto, it will be the exact opposite. Cotto will put the pressure and will make Floyd go backwards. FLoyd will be in his bicicle Pot Shoting and Floyd barely throws Combos now a days. He is always a safety first fighter and if he tries to walk Cotto down he will get a beating in the proscess, so him wont go forward for anything in the world. I can see some sense if you say Floyd will outbox Cotto to a UD or Something, but saying Floyd will KO him is a bit absurd. If Cotto displays the same game plan that Castillo did, Cotto can TKO Floyd(very hard to do) or Win a D.
