  • Joe and Roy were only a few years apart, why the total beatdown?

Joe only has to be a few years younger than Roy but yet when they fought Joe outfought, out thought and outclassed Roy throughout the whole fight.
Roy looked at his best again against Trinidad and said he was going to be in prime form against Calzaghe, so whos word should i take? Roy's or his bumboy fans?
If you notice he said after the fight he lost because he chose the wrong game plan not because he was shot, Jones was fortunate Calzaghe pulled his punches in the last round. Had they fought in their primes jones would be on his back.

you know One77 only posts bait threads. NSB needs to get together and fully blacklist his threads. Just yesterday he said they should eliminate the smaller weight classes.

#1, Roy was not at his best for Trinidad, he was just fighting a guy who hadnt fought in years, didnt fight at his natural weight, didnt take a tune-up fight before Jones and was rusty as all ahell.

#2 All they weight gain and loss that Jones put himself thru took away a lot of stamina and reflexes...

#3 Had they fought in their primes, I think it would have been a competitive fight in the beginning BUT Jones would have eventually either stopped or won a UD against CalSlappy because Jones faced way better opposition that Joe ever did, including to this day!!

No, that is wrong. You know nothing about Calzaghes resume to say that, there about close in resumes. Roy fought his share of taxi-drivers too. Another poster who is probably another ignorant American, who only sucks off there American fighters.

Yeah, he looked good against an inactive former welterweight champion.
