      I KNOW guys.

It is Vivan Harris, a decent former pro, with a good name. Chinny as **** aswell.

BUT, don't forget he was dropped twice in the 1st round against a guy who was 7-4-1 in October last year.

It is a "step-up" for Ortiz though.

GBP are taking this fight based on Harris' chin, they better hope it breaks lol

Yeah it's Harris, but it's still a pretty good match up. He could KO Harris in the first round seeing as how he did Mausa in that way, but I think it'll be a nice scrap.

Harris is clearly on the downslide. I'd pick Ortiz to take him out in less than 5 rounds.

Harris has a name, but it's not a big fight. Ortiz will win easily. They really need to start getting him better fights.

I won't be surprised if Ortiz knocked Harris out in the first round.

                  from contender to stepping stone....

last i saw harris, he was on the undercard of gatti-PBF....he was in there, ignoring steward's instuctions, tryin to impress the crowd...maybe he was trying to impress cotto who was in attendance...before he knew it, maussa took control of the fight and there went his career...

this should be a good fight for ortiz....i was kinda hoping that it would be torres but as long as the kid stays active, its all good....

Not to be an ass, but I have to disagree 100%. Ortiz could be a star. They need to start really challenging him. It was one thing to protect him a little when they weren't sure if he could handle a step up, but eyes are on him now to take on the mantle. An easy win over Harris doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know about Ortiz.

He absolutely needs to fight someone at about Torres' level right now. Look even Don King got Junior Witter for Devon Alexander and King hasn't done much of anything for Alexander. Golden Boy needs to move Ortiz and match him tough. He can take it.

all good...you're entitled to your opinion and you make some good points...

all im saying is; as far as Harris has fallen off, he's still a step up from Jeffrey Resto lol...he'll at least get a few rounds under his belt and it would be against someone that at one point, was a promising contender...

Ortiz has 'star' written all over him but the kid is 21...he brings some wicked **** in those punches but it doesnt hurt getting him a little more polished...especially on the defensive aspect of his game...

i would have loved to see a torres-ortiz war but that's just the greedy fight fan in me....the kid has plenty of time for bigger prizefights
