    Light-heavies moving to heavyweight

We all know how Evander Holyfield "lost" to Nikolai Valuev. Assuming things happen like Chagaev gets beat by Drumond, and Holyfield decides to retire, could it be possible for Bernard Hopkons to move to heavyweight to beat Valuev? I heard somewhere he was considering moving up to beat Maskaev a few years ago. Could Joe Calzaghe. I personally think that Calzaghe would get crushed, while Hopkins would find success. Thoughts?

i dont think joe could move up higher than LHw tbh. hes not a fighter who packs on muscle or hits the weights his training is very much old skool and focussed on technique and skill allied with stamina and his natural speed.

hopkins on the other hand i a guy who can put on the muscle, im sure in the back of his mind hes thinking that a HW belt would be a good way to surpass or equal jones. but i dont think hopkins hs the ambition for it and i think he is too small for HW. hes not a naturally big guy like PW or dawson or zaghe.

i do see hopkins moving up to CW though and giving adamek a tough fight, i wouldn't rule that out. if zaghe retires then i expect hopkins to take out dawson.

Joe is a lean man,who throws a lot of punches, his style isnt based on technical fighting, its more of a simple outwork ur opp. type.I dont see him having the same kind of output at hw,plus his chin isnt that solid,if he gets hit by a hw,he might not beat the 10 count!!
