    tito trinidad or miguel cotto?

both are from puerto rico and are excellent boxers. im thinking what do you guys think the two? who is the better all-around fighter in terms of quality of opposition, skill, and excitement that they bring night-in and night-out every time they fight.

Tito is and always will be PR's favorite child. He just had the style and the charisma. I agree that Cotto is more skilled. But Tito was electric.

yeah agree with that one, i just watched his fight against vargas. he could have coasted with a win during the last round but he did not. and gave the fans what they came to see. his lost to b-hop was a demoralizing one and he never recovered from there.

          True that.

Remember that first round against Vargas? That was the moment that I became a hardcore boxing fan.

            dumb thread tito easy..
let miguel cotto accomplish more in his career, then perhaps there can be an argument..

            tito>>>>>>>cotto
tito was more exciting, charismatic, fought better opposition, and was a better fighter imo.. i have never seen a fan following like tito's.. pacman is the only other guy that comes to mind.. Tito carried PR on his back

Cotto has more talent and skill as a fighter, but as many people already mentioned, Tito has faced better opponents so far and has more charisma.

Trinidad has accomplished more obviously but Cotto can surpass him by the end of his career because he has the skills to do so, Cotto is probably the more well schooled of the two.
