I hope he's better than when he announces the NFL on CBS.

Gus Johnson is a good commentator, better than Albert in my opinion. Too bad they wouldn't replace Al Bernstein and Steve Farhood too.

Gus Johnson is a pile of garbage. I dont feel like watching Showtime now, unless they have really good fights on.

              Roooooocky, Rooooocky!!!!!!

Gus gets into his commentating. He's my favorite guy for the NCAA Basketball tournament, he goes nuts when its a close game and big shots are hit. Don't know about boxing though, I was used to Albert being the Showtime guy.

His commentary on elite xc was not good

Its great that we have a guy who ****s on the sport during elite xc now being the lead commentator on one of the major networks

                just great

In terms of actually discussing the fight, they are just up there with them, but Lampley's call and Larry's witty remarks ranks them better imo.

Let me guess because they are white hating racists? Al Bernstein is a pretty good analyist. I like him. Farhood is good too.

No doubt HBO come out with some legendary comments, but Showtime really get me excited.
