Train in the mountains, Puerto Rico is an island few feets above water. Where does Margo train? I hear the higher feet above water level you train the more the lungs gets expanded and more you can go without tiring, this is why I think mexicans americans and fighters from high continents can go more rounds.
I wonder who lasts more, a Gamboa that trains in Cuba or a Gamboa that trains in Germany?Comment

He needs to lay off the ropes because Tony found a way after the 6th to trap him there where about 95% of the damage took place.
Do what he did in the first fight, but throw a variety of punches to the body, arms as well as head shots
His conditioning has to be 110%. He needs to circle around Tony and not totally depend on counter punching and try keeping the fight in the middle of the ring to where he can clinch when needed.
I think he can win on points just based off his performance in the 1st fight IMO.Comment

come in well conditioned and with enough in the tank to go 15 rounds. marg will start slow again (he never learns!) so make sure that he has enough after round 8/9 to weather the onsluaght.
dont exhaust himself looking for the KO in the early rounds its not gonna happen, if you've done enough to win the round then be happy with it and see that round through.
avoid clinching, marg is the stronger fighter and will hurt him in the clinches. marg has a very good sense of range on the inside and still manages to get his shots off. fight in the pocket, stay close enough to marg to make sure that he can see his punches coming and that he can counter, but dont run that will only give the impression that hes being backed up and marg will hunt him down.
cotto said before that targetting margarito's body was nigh on impossible he needs to work on his body attack and footwork to get close and land that killer left hook to the body. its one of his best punches and if he manages to land it and land it well then he could take some wind out of the tornado.
which brings me to the last point - his trainer. if cotto doesn't change his trainer after that loss then hes a fool. he has to recgonise by now that he needs a real team behind him and none of the petty **** that happened before with his uncle can happen again.

Do what he did last time... but do it better! Cotto certainly doesn't have the guns to knock Margarito out, no welterweight does because of his iron chin, the only way Cotto can win is by decision... so I say Cotto would have to control the fight, fight amazingly defensively and make sure he barely gets hit. If he gets hit much the same thing will happen as last time, but in shorter fashion, Cotto will have to completely use all of his boxing skills, outbox him... make sure hes the faster puncher while making sure he doesn't get hit, also backing off from the ropes would help so he doesn't get trapped... Margarito is a tough fighter to beat and Cotto would have to dig down deep to beat him.Comment
