He just needs to fight whichever one of the welters is the biggest name at the time of his comeback. I am interested in and will give him credit for a Pacquiao fight but I do see him as a heavy favorite in that fight, I think he has very little other than money to gain from that fight, altough it would do wonders for Pacquiao if he won. I still think Cotto-Mayweather would be a crazy fight, but I would also love to see how he would do in a fight with Margarito since he can't discourage him and will have to evade 120 shots per round.

I give Floyd all the respect and credit he deserves anyway... but yeah, if he was to fight Cotto I think he would get more respect from other boxing fans (some who hate Floyd and some who are neutral... doesn't matter either way). Most people hate Floyd for the way he acts before the fight but I just think it is to hype it up and help promote it... Floyd seems to be a nice guy really. As for fighting Margarito, I don't think he has too... as Margarito just weight drains himself on the weigh-in and then puts on 15 pounds on fight night... but I gotta admit it would be a good fight too see (both of them).

In MY opinion, others may think differently... I think Floyd could beat both Margarito and Cotto, maybe TKO-ing Cotto late in the fight or by UD. As for Margarito... I don't think Floyd has what it takes to KO him... just like every other welterweight can't, so just like larryx said, I think he would just beat Margarito by decision the same style he did against Baldomir.

Changing the subject... I think a fight with Pacquiao would also be a great fight... to settle who is pound for pound #1 of the generation... I think it would also be a massive event that would be very exciting.

I would give Floyd all the respect in the world for fighting Cotto even if he loses he'll get respect from me. This would be a great fight and I believe Cotto would be the most difficult test from all 4 mentioned (Cotto, Margarito, Williams, Pacquiao), I don't think people should complain if Mayweather fights Cotto.
