    did jeff lacy ruin himself??

yes he got beating badly so he was mentally ****ed up after joe.
yes he tore his rotator cuff losing his famous left hook and being dependant on his right hand.

but i think the damage was done before both, lacy if you watch him when he was younger was very fast, he has good combinations and power. i think lacy bulked up too much and lost his handspeed and power from that. its a shame really, he was a great prospect.

Lacy brought the fight to Taylor like he wanted to win.. He didn't fight like a man that was ruined maybe his left hook was not there but his heart was still in the game.

Before he fought Calzaghe, the press over in the U.K seriously hyped him up... I always fought he was overrated and his career proves it.

            He as always hyped up.
He was exciting, but I dont think any serious fan or boxing expert actually rated him as a decent fighter though. Only the promoters (obv)

Yeah it's a shame, but maybe he was just never that good. I mean he has always been pretty one dimensional and I never thought of him as a P4P type guy.

Calzaghe fans give Joe too much credit for that win. Yes he beat Lacy impressively, but when you look back it wasn't that big of a win.

Rubbish, he was massive favourite against Calzaghe, in the press , amoungst fans, most clued up boxing writers and experts where touting early KO's for Lacy, Ring had him borderline top 10 P4P.

look how patient he is here like a seasoned pro with good handspeed and power.
