Monte Barrett vs. Sam Peter: who wins?

This fight is probably going to happen, since both sides are saying they want it.

Who will win? Will it go the distance? Will it be a late TKO or end early?

    From boxing talk:

    Sam Peter-Monte Barrett coming soon?

Former WBC heavyweight champion Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter could face Monte Barrett in his first fight back following an embarrassing loss to Vitali Klitschko. Barrett had this to say, "My advisor and his manager have already spoken and everybody likes the fight. You know I don't turn no fights like this down and if Samuel is man enough to sign on the dotted line, I'll be there to put him flat on his behind. I had an off night against David Haye and there's no better way to prove it than wiping Samuel clean out of the heavyweight picture."

An off night is an understatement by Barrett. He didn't box that bad but he was embarassing himself by getting knocked around so bad.

Peter by KO unless the Vitali loss affects him really badly, which is unlikely.

Haye was to quick and powerful for him, Peter has the power to KO Barrett but Barrett will have the edge in speed and probably conditioning as well. Barrett has been KO before but can Peter ever recover from the embarrassing defeat he suffered. I will predict a Peter late KO but If Peter comes in fat I wouldn’t be surprised if Barrett pulled off the upset to be honest.

If Barrett wins, would Haye get more credit?!

It would look better on his resume.

But if Peter KOs Barrett early, it will have the opposite effect.
