Will Wladimir get credit if he beats Haye?

I dont think he'll get much. He's a coward if he doesnt fight him right now.. But if when he beats Haye, which he will, I'll bet people are just gonna say that Haye's a blown up cruiser, no chin, not a good fighter anyway, Wladimir is still a bum, he couldnt contend with Ali, Tyson and so on.

Either way, I hope he fights and KO's Haye. Thats my two cents.

I don't agree with this statement; Haye is undeserving of a title shot right now. Let Haye beat a top contender before he gets his shot.

Most of the Wlad fans have already discredited Haye so his own fans wont give him any credit.

I don't need to see Vlad beat Haye to know that he could compete with Tyson. He definitely could. Ali on the other hand, I'm not so sure about. A victory over Haye definitely helps, but I agree, Vlad will be remembered as sort of a tragic figure. His domination over the division is his biggest asset, as well as, detriment to his legacy.

Either way, I think the guy is unquestionably the MOST underrated fighter of this decade.

Lets be realisitic, Haye as far as I can see is the only guy that has a legitimate chance of beating Wlad apart fom Chagaev (and hes off with an injury) but make no mistake Wlad should be the heavy favourite to stop Haye.

If he wins he should get credit for beating a legitimate threat but he is still the favourite, if he does it in exciting fashion then he'll get all the praise. Likelihood is it'll be a boring fight and he'll get loads of crticism for looking like a sack of crap again even though he won.

I second everything you've said... Wlad is no coward, he's just been tied down with mandatories. I think the next fight will be of his chosing... hopefully it will be Haye, but there will be no justice (in the way of credit) in this world for Wlad. His only credit will come if he steps into a time machine (like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure), rounds up Jack Johnson, Marciano, Joe Louis, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, and Lewis.... and fights them all at once. Then... maybe, just maybe... Wlad will get some credit, but only if he wins all bouts by KO.
