    Dawson vs Tarver 2 what?

On October 11 2008, at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Dawson fought IBF and IBO Light Heavyweight Champion Antonio Tarver. Dawson, who controlled the pace and landed most of the significant punches for a majority of the fight, was more active in methodically wearing out his opponent. Tarver landed the occasional punch, but Dawson was in control for most of the fight.Dawson knockdown Tarver, and it was the only knockdown in the fight however Dawson cruised to the Ud easily. Even though Dawson signed a new contract with Hbo, putting him in the situation for (as you know by now)a rematch, Do you think viewers will be uninterested in the 2nd fight and get as many views as the first? due to the fact that the first fight was so one sided in Chad's favor, who realy wants to see Tarver take another beatdown? in a way is this realy a fight to tune into? with al do respect.

yes, this has already been discussed before. its a pointless fight but Tarver had the rematch clause in the contract and he executed it. Nothing anyone can do about it.

The only thing that I find interesting about this is that I wonder if Tarver is going to be the same arrogant trashtalker he was for the first fight.

I saw the 1st fight (well most of it, missed the beginning)... and I don't want to see a second... Dawson clearly won the fight, to me it wasn't that exciting for what I can remember. If they was to fight again Dawson would just win again in better fashion and it would prove that it would be a waste of time if they had another fight!

I probably wouldn't watch the fight... I live in England and would have to stop up till 3.00+ in the morning, it would be a waste of time.
