nothing really except put him in the p4p list. i would put mosley in the high number and take out cotto. maybe cotto have a rematch with mosley see who will keep the spot at the p4p.

post above me is a bit of bull****, for a legacy stand-point it does a hell alot since the younger more in his prime cotto didn't beat margarito.

Yeah, it revives his career and sure does make a statement as to how good he is, it does tons more than the Mayorga win.

A hell of a lot, it would mean that he beat an elite pound 4 pounder past him prime, would be a hell of a way to end his career, but I don't think he has a chance, mark my words by the 3rd or 4th round you'l be wondering if mosley will see the second half of the fight...

          In my opinion

If he pulls off the victory, it would in essence give him a win that he lusted for early in his career against the likes of vernon forrest and winky wright. It would firmly establish him as not only a hall of famer, but an all time great pound for pound. Also, it would give him another shot at being a top 5 player in the welterweight division giving him another crack at cotto if cotto is able to get past Margo in June.

This would be ideal in my situation, since I have always admired Mosely, but really was hurt by his losses to forrest and winky. And he can pull it off too by being both the boxer and aggressor against Margo. You know staying in the center of the ring, backing Margo up occasionally with angles and throwing power shots, but still not being over zelous and showing us that he does have a great jab when it pumps it out and he can be patient too.

More than likely though, since he is 37, though he always comes in shape, he will be battered against Margarito. Margo is a tough cookie, and as we all know, he has legendary stamina, a legendary chin, and throws over a 100 punches per round. Usually when a fighter has those attributes, and is substantially younger than his opponent, he goes home with the victory; January 24th will probably be no different. I hope at least Mosely can go the distance, but I will be rooting for him to win nonetheless!

If Mosley Beats Margarito I will Guarantee you he will call out Mayweather in the Post fight interview... Mayweather is the only reason he is still fighting.

but if he wins, I hope he retires. So his career can have a good ending.

Look at Winky get knocked down five times at his younger stage by an unknown Mexican brawler
