Hmm...I wonder if Vanes would step up if given the chance? I'm not too sure he would, especially on short notice.

Instead of the proposed match between James Kirkland and Verno Phillips in March on HBO, why doesnt Phillips opt to take on Martinez instead, because in the long run Golden Boy will come to their senses and realize putting Kirkland with Phillips at this stage maybe a tab bit too early and will eventually pull Phillips from the slot. I think he should focus his attention on that Joe Greene replacement. I think that'll be a very intriging fight.
