I thought Taylor won that fight, btw.
You thought Taylor won? Are you serious? Wow, just wow. I prefer JT over Pavlik but no way in hell could I have found a way to give Jermain that fight.

Yeah! Seriously, I had Taylor ahead by a round. It depends how you score fights. I guess Pavlik got the decision based mainly on his aggression, but as far I'm concerned Taylor out-boxed him, plus at the time it looked to me like a lot of Pavlik's shots only landed on JT's gloves? I need to watch this fight again, actually.

I remember posting on here after the fight and being disappointed that Taylor didn't win. I wrote about Pavlik looking flat-footed, one dimensional, limited, etc., then 8 months later Hopkins confirmed it.

As for the scoring? The only judge who had a realistic score was Patricia Jarman.

in the other hand mayweather was a hyped boxer that took lil risks and always disrespected his opponents he kept getting fatter so he had to move up in weight class when he finally gained the spotlight on boxing by defeating a shot de la hoya
he embarrased boxing by doing pro wrestling and **** then he finally retired never leaving his country or taking a minimun risk
he didnt challenge the best. he did not beat dawson, and hopkins and roy are past their primes

and two big fights doesnt compare to floyds career.

on top of that he fights less frequently than floyd does, and fights less big fights. how could u possibly make that argument?

so if that were the case i'm guessing you had hopkins beating calzaghe since calzaghe landed all his "punchslaps" on hopkins gloves. you wouldn't score a fight differently just cause its calzaghe would you.......

calzaghe challenged the best in his division unified the division then went on and challenged the best on the 175 division
the only guy u claim he didnt face is dawson but he will doon be exposed hell he already was against glen johnson
instead mayweather skipped the biggest challenges from 140 onwards and only cared about money never unified any title

You go on about Floyd only caring about money. What the **** do you think was the idea behind Joe fighting Roy? Seriously? It's thier JOB, of course they want to make the most money possible. But you can't have it both ways. Saying it's ok for Joe, but not for Floyd is just ****ing ******.

                  Hello Daggum.

Like I just said elsewhere, I had Calzaghe slightly ahead in a close but clear fight, and what might have let Hopkins down and affected the decision was his faking of low-blows. I can understand why you scored it for Hopkins, but it looked like he didn't really want to be in there at times. It's not 100% comparable to Pavlik-Taylor. If Taylor had been rolling around on the floor complaining for no apparent reason, it might have affected my scoring too.

No point in discussing it here though, I can't be bothered to type it all out again.

floyd mayweather fought at 5 different weight classes, compare to joe calzaghes 2......... floyd won the biggest fight in recent years, floyd has many more championship defenses, and he is the reason that 24/7 exsists.

if that isnt working wonders for the sport if boxing, then what joe calzaghe has done is close to nothing!
