has there ever been a case besdies calzaghe - hopkins..

where the lower ranked p4p fighter was favored to beat the higher ranked p4p fighter.

hopkins was p4p 3 calzaghe was p4p 4 and calzaghe was the 2-1 betting favorite moving up a weight class and fighting in hopkins' country.

how many other examples do you have of this? (please no oscar - pacquiao, oscar wasnt p4p ranked).

Hopkins was Higher ranked than Pavlik with "the ring", and was a HUGE betting underdog.

    Won though

Odds makers are looking to make money.... If everyone bet on Calzaghe and he lost they would make a killing..

If you can believe it Pavlik was a 3-1 favorite over Hopkins.

I think people bet Hopkins as an underdog just because of his age alone, but he is still proving he has great skill even at the age of 43, he destroyed Pavlik and gave Calzaghe a hard fight... I just think people neglect him a little bit because of his age.
