    Rafael Marquez vs. Veeraphol Sahaprom

    Rafael Marquez
IBF Bantamweight Champion - 3 title defenses
    32W(29KO's)-3L-0D
    Notable wins :
    *Tim Austin
    *Mark "Too Sharp" Johnson

    Veeraphol Sahaprom
WBC Bantamweight Champion - 14 title defenses
    45W(31KO's)-1L-1D
    Notable wins :
    *Ricardo Barajas
    *Adan Vargas
*WBA Bantamweight champ in only his 4th professional fight.

Rafa Marquez is perhaps P4P the best puncher in boxing today and at the peak of his game. How will he fare against the long-time WBC champ who's an excellent boxer/puncher himself. Too bad this match-up may never happen 'cause the Thai champ has aged already and is ripe for the picking. But what if these two great champs fought during Veeraphol's prime, who wins? and why?

    Your thoughts, thanks.

Sahaprom would have decisioned Marquez a few years back as Marquez is just starting to come into his own now. Sahaprom has a nice gurd that would block most of Marquez shots sahaprom could have possibly knocked Marquez out in my opinion. He is one of the most underrated fighters in the last 7 or so years. I guess he can only look to unify against Ratanachai(118 WBO)which I would love to see. But Ratanachai will probably not want that fight. Would like to see some of the Thai 118 pounders get a shot at Sahaprom or Vorapin instead of some of the others and keep the title in Thailand.
