it's pretty much clear why Marco Antonio Barrera left Golden Boy Promotions and joined with that snake known as Don King.

King is feeding him bum after bum, first after signing with king Barrera fought Ventura in China, an unknown bum, now he's fighting another bum in june.

Golden Boy threw Morales, Pacquiao, Juarez, and Marquez at him...real opponents.

GBP considered Barrera a great, a legend, therefore they gave him legit fights.

Barrera is making himself look bad now, too bad, he was one of my favorites.

Lets look at Joe Calzaghe's manager and who he fought. King is just following the new coward route started by Enzo Calzaghe. Expect much much worse in the future. Expect to see a guy with no special talent whatsoever defending a belt for 16 years against mandatories which really translate into BUMS. Expect them to join the main league when everyone else is too old to fight or just shot after many wars with real opponents, and make it ATG by beating them, showing notorious lack of class by being dropped in the process. Expect that. I'm sure you all will be crying "I hate boxing by then".
