If Calzaghe is supposedly the best of all time for retiring undefeated then you don't make sense because Rocky Marciano retired undefeated, he was a great fighter but i don't think he was the bets of all time. If your trying to state that then you could say that Mayweather is the best of all time because he won 6 World Titles in 5 Weight Classes, and retired undefeated as pound for pound number 1. So you actually make no sense in what you are saying that he is the best of all time because he has retired undefeated, even though he hasn't actually announced retirement yet.

I am not doubting Joe's abilities, I think he is a great fighter with great skills, he has proved this to the world. I like Joe and I am a fan of him but I think it is a bit too much to call him the best of all time... he received a medal from the queen and I think he deserves it but calling him the best of all time is an incorrect thing to say.

I haven't heard anything of Calzaghe confirming retirement yet but my thought is that he should retire now, he is 36 and at the right age where people should call it a day, and in my opinion he has nothing more to prove so I think he should retire undefeated.
