2009 is already here and there's a lot of talk about Maywweather vs. Paco obviously. But i really don't see this fight happening.
Here are my reasons:
1. Mayweather has more to lose coming out of retirement and fighting a fierce fighter like Pacquiao.
2. Pacquiao's people have to come up with a number big enough to entice Mayweather into the ring. And Mayweather turning down offers is just attributing to him not wanting to face Pacquiao.
3. Mayweather's got bad hands and back problems.
4. Mayweather's already a millionare
5. By the time Mayweather get to Paco, it'll be damn near 2 years of ring rust. And word on the street is Mayweather would go str8 to Paco without taking a tune-up fight.
6. Depending on Paco's up-comping performances, he gets dibs on choosing the weight class.
7. I don't think Mayweather has to prove anything to anyone at this point in his career.
Mayweather's dope as fcuk!!! I don't like him outside of the ring, but inside the ring this guys is freakin ridiculous. I watched the Judah vs. Mayweather fight, and Mayweather put so many hands on him he didn't know what to do.
It's funny because in that fight, Judah was the champ and Mayweather just went into that fight and said, "gimme yo *****!"
