roy is harder to hit, more elusive and still has handspeed and some sort of defence.

fighting pavlik would be easy, too easy to hit. he would chop the tree down and eventually timber! with the left hook pavlik flat on his back for the 10 count.

I can actually see Joe stopping Pavlik.

People have been saying this since day 1 but with the hype surrounding Pavlik, he was seen as some sort of unbeatable force. It's a shame Zag didn't have the balls to batter Pavlik, it would've added some credibility to his resume.

interesing, jermain taylor and bernard hopkins couldnt knock him out... and if you try and make the case joe hits harder than Bernard, your bull****ting yourself...

and Roys elusive? 10 years ago roy was elusive... now he walks towards you with his hands up... doesnt seem to elusive to me..

Joe isnt knocking out Pavlik... point blank period... but he beats him 11 rounds to 1

Joe would clean knock out Pavlik no way.

I could see a mercy stoppage tbh. Pavlik would look a mess from around the 6th.

I agree. I've always thought Calzaghe would beat him easily.

This is an unecessary thread... It pretty much goes without saying that Joe wins at least 8 rounds to 4 over Pavlik. It goes without saying because Joe decisions anyone from 160 to 175. Dawson is the only question mark in my mind.
