What do you think about it?
# 1 - JOE CALZAGHE
Calzaghe exploded onto **********'s top twenty pound for pound list following his thorogh domination over previously undefeated champion Jeff Lacy. Immediately ollowing the Lacy win, Calzaghe had done little to further cement his pound for pound status, but his undefeated record now includes wins over future first ballot hall of famers Roy Jones Jr and Bernard Hopkins and fellow pound for pounder Mikkel Kessler, Calzaghe's greatbess cannot be denied. Manny Pacqauiao is the most exciting fighter in the sport, Calzaghe is simply the best, against any style, not just Mexicans.

# 2 - MANNY PACQUIAO
Pacquiao boasts a 6-1-1 record in eight fights with future hall of famers Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez and Oscar De La Hoya, which is the primary reason Pacman is regarded as the best fighter in the world below 147 pounds. Pacman holds the top spot on most lists and I wouldn't argue that, I however after rewatching his rematch with Juan Manuel Marquez, still don't think he went undefeated in 2008 and since this is my list, I can't rank Pacquiao over a fighter I've never seen lose. Pacquiao is the only fighter in boxing who can bring Floyd Mayweather Jr out of retirement. His May 2 bout with Ricky Hatton will be a huge event and I don't expect Pacquaio to disappoint.

# 3 - BERNARD HOPKINS
The living legend continues to put stamp on his hall of fame career. He first thoroughly dominating former three time light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver, took a decision over Winky Wright, lost a split decision to Joe Calzaghe and then as a 4-1 underdog, straight up schools Previously undefeated middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik, what can you say about the man? Love him or hate him as a fighter, he's one of the greatest of all time. PERIOD. Funny how the more things change the more they stay the same. After this weekend, the talk of boxing could be the rematch with Roy Jones Jr, the man Hopkins last feels he suffered a legitimate loss to.

# 4 - JUAN M. MARQUEZ
The best Mexican fighter in the world continues to climb this list as he enhances his hall of fame credentials. After losing a controversial split decision to Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel moved up in weight and handed former linear lightweight champion Joel Casamayor his first stoppage loss. Marquez is still looking for a third fight with Pacquiao, but to his credit he's signing to face the best available opposition. Marquez will now face Juan Diaz in a must see fight.
NEXT: HBO FEBRUARY 28 VS JUAN DIAZ
# 5 - ISRAEL VAZQUEZ
The boxing world need not question the heart and will of Israel Vazquez, as severe cuts above both eyes weren't enough to prevent him from he avenging his earlier loss to Rafael Marquez via sixth round stoppage, creating boxing's need great rivalry, which Vazquez is winnING (not won) following his second straight victory over Rafael Marquez. The Marquez rubbermatch came down to the twelfth round, Vazquez dominated and ultimately dropped Rafael, which was the difference on the judges scorecards.

# 6 - RAFAEL MARQUEZ
Very few fighters would maintain a spot in my top ten following two straight losses. Rafael Marquez is one of my marines and his status as one of the best in the world should not be altered following his thrilogy with Israel Vazquez. Who wouldn't love to see Marquez fight Ponce De Leon or Caballero? What better way to set up a fourth Vazquez fight than having Rafa secure another title first?

# 7 - RONALD "WINKY" WRIGHT
He's 1-1-1 in his last three fights but anyone who tells you that Winky Wright isn't one of the 10 best boxers in the world doesn't know much about boxing. After losing a ridiculously wide unanimous decision to then light heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins, Wight has gone inactive largely due to the other marquee fighters reluctance to get in the ring with him. Wrights is expected to make his highly anticipated return against one of the most feared men in boxing, Paul Williams. Not an easy task and it's the kind of fight that will determine whether the Winkster fights on or hangs em up.
NEXT: APRIL 11 OR 18 VS. PAUL WILLIAMS
# 8 - ANTONIO MARGARITO
The Tijuana Tornado blows by many future hall of famers on this list to make his debut in my top ten. His destruction of Miguel Cotto speaks for itself an his victory over Joshua Clottey looks more and more impressive each day Looking to follow up his career defining win but adding his second consecutive marquee name to his resume. Shane Mosley is still one of the best fighters in the world and should make for an entertaining fight, Margarito's workrate will likely lead him to a rematch with Puerto Rican superstar Miguel Cotto.
NEXT: HBO JANUARY 24 VS. SHANE MOSLEY
# 9 - MIGUEL COTTO
After making an overdue debut in my top twenty two updates ago, the pride of Puerto Rico finds himself in my magnificent seven. Followed up his career defining victory over former welterweight champion Zab Judah, but defeating future hall of famer "Sugar" Shane Mosley. Cotto is one of the best body punches in the business, a undefeated two division champion and he's still learning and improving with each performance. Scary. After effortlessly pounding the overmatched Alfonso Gomez into submission, Cotto returns to the A level circuit to face Antonio Margarito on HBO PPV this July. Cotto should be commended for facing the stiffest test available while he continued to work towards bouts with Mayweather and/or De La Hoya. It should be interesting to see how he rebounds from that setback, and against what level of opposition....that's how the last entry concluded and now that we know Cotto will face Michael Jennings in a tune up to the Margarito rematch, we4 know we're getting at least one major event out of the always exciting lefty in 2009.
NEXT: FEBRUARY 21 VS. MICHAEL JENNINGS
# 10 - SHANE MOSLEY
He failed to get the decision against the younger, stronger undefeated Miguel Cotto, but future hall of famer "Sugar" Shane Mosley proved he has quite a bit left in his tank, if he chooses to continue fighting, which I expect he will. My scorecard read 115-113 in favor of Cotto, but Mosley was clearly the fresher fighter during the championship rounds. The options might not be as lucrative as they could have been had he defeated Cotto, but after his last second knockout over Ricardo Mayorga made most forget about how horrid a fight it had been to that moment, the Sugarman's market value is back on the rise and if he's able to pull the upset against Meixcan machine Antonio Margarito he'll be back in the top five pound for pound for the first time since the turn of the century.
