Do I need to mention again, that 14 of those fighters I mentioned have headlined a PPV.
It's becoming very apparent that you're just a Pacquiao fan, rather than a boxing fan.Last edited by deliveryman; 01-04-2009, 06:40 AM.Comment

And of those 14 guys, which fighters had the audience booing the fight and walking out before the fight was over?

Right, you choose the one fight which Floyd himself admitted was dull. It's also fair to point out, that he broke his hand half way through the fight. The first 4-5 rounds were actually not so bad.
Got any others?Last edited by deliveryman; 01-04-2009, 06:41 AM.Comment

It's ironic you should say that, considering Floyd has two of the top three revenue grossing, most watched Pay Per Views, of all time. When he fights Manny, there's a good chance Floyd is going to hold three of the top four.
Floyd is entertaining, because he knows how to sell a fight. He knows how to create the necessary drama and tension to keep people interested. The persona that everyone loves to hate, coupled with the fact that he's the very best makes him such an intriguing topic. Look around you, the man has retired and has not fought in over a year, and how many threads are created about him in a day? We're discussing this in a thread you, yourself made about him, doesn't that tell you all you need to know? Not to mention he's in your avatar as well.
Like I said before, he doesn't have the most entertaining style in the world, but he makes up for it with drama, tension, hype, and controversy that will always keep us glued to the TV and reaching into our wallets, whenever he fights. You're entitled to your opinion which is nothing more than your subjective perception of "boredom", but the ratings and the number of people that consistently watch him fight are factual.Last edited by deliveryman; 01-04-2009, 07:05 AM.Comment
