This fight will be picked up... If nothing else, Versus would be happy to air it. I'm really looking forward to this one, though Cintron only has a puncher's chance. I pick Clottey to win, but I'm unsure on how this one will end.

BoxingScene.com was happy to hear that few problems exist in making the fight between IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (35-2, 20KOs) and his mandatory challenger Kermit Cintron (30-2, 27KOs). That's the good news. [details]Comment

I cant say I blame HBO though. I mean its a great fight, but it doesnt have marquee fight written on it, and if there is no undercard to stick it on..... Usually when HBO is face with this though they make a B.A.D card and stick two other fights on there. Dunno why that cant be done.Comment

This is straight up booty man!! I could understand not wanting to televise it because they are not big name stars if HBO was dishing out some good BAD or WCB card but they are not.
Maybe a cable network will take it? It wouldn't hurt boxing to have this on ESPN or Versus.
A good fight like this that is fan friendly could give boxing more exposure.Comment

I can't believe this! Who wouldn't want to televise this fight? It's a given that it will be great. Two guys that come to fight, neither with any give. God damn, of all the ****e that's in boxing now, if they screw this up as well because of some useless reason....
Clottey needs to get these fights happening. He needs to get this done and then get Marg or Williams. Cotto is always good as well.Comment
