Rate these boxers in terms of who would beat who

    Gary Lockett @ 160
    William Joppy @160
    Prime de la Hoya @147
    Mayorga @ 160
    Unbeaten Fernando Vargas
    Unbeaten David Reid
    Past prime DLH @ 154 in 2007
    Baldomir @147
Judah (coming off of a loss) @ 147
    Hatton @ 147
    JL Castillo @ 135
    Diego Corrales @ 130

The above list is how I would rate them. P4P Diego might be better than the Mayorga of 160, but we're talking about who would win if they fought. JLC had a great chin, but put him in with a 154lb Vargas and it doesn't last long IMO.

I think the order of Hatton/Baldomir/Judah is debatable, but I put Baldomir above Judah because he beat him, and Judah above Hatton because he achieved more at 147.

DLH beat Vargas at 154, but Vargas was clearly the bigger man. Could he still win if he was 147 and Vargas was 154? I'm 50/50 on that.

Anyway, how would you rate them?

Hatton loses to everyone on the list at 147
Joppy beats Lockett at 160, Mayorga COULD prob beat both but depends which one of his personalitys turn up lol
Vagas beats reid and todays Oscar at 147

Castillio and Corrales fight every month, and every month have a new winner

From the weakest to the strongest.

Hatton @ 147 - He doesn't have size advantage and can't possible bully any elite fighter in that division.
Mayorga @ 160 - Same problem as Hatton. If he can't bully anyone he loses, and with a questionable chin, he'd be a sucker for somebody with decent power.
Past prime DLH @ 154 in 2007 - Can't pull the trigger anymore, put him in there with ANY fast fighter with decent power and that fighter will break him.
Baldomir @147 - he's slow and doesn't have power but has granite chin...there's a reason why his win over Judah is called an "upset". He'll probably give some fighters problems but no way is he remotely close to being an elite, he just happened to be at the right place and the right time, and at his age when he fought Judah and Mayweather, he's a joke.
Judah (coming off of a loss) @ 147 - without his confidence he doens't have anything, and not wanting to have two loses in a row, he'd bound gamble on offense and make mistakes... put him in there with a fighter who can capitalize on these and he's a loss waiting to happen, put him in there with Baldomir again and he'd probably win by sheer will.
Gary Lockett @ 160 - He's a decent Brit fighter, put him in there with a non-european fighter and he's more likely to lose than win specially if its a rated boxer he's up against.
Unbeaten David Reid - see Gary Locket.
William Joppy @160 - Gatekeeper at best in his prime, beat an old Duran but was beaten two years after by a slightly past prime Trinidad who was moving up in weight, just to give you an idea of his level.
Diego Corrales @ 130 - was a big guy with a long reach and power at 130, but he eventually had problems making the weight which prompted his eventual move to the higher divisions. He was also SLOW and fast boxers with decent power made life miserable for him. At the higher weights he was ordinary.
JL Castillo @ 135 - Solid at 135, but hasn't beaten anybody of note to make him great at that division, like I said, Corrales was ordinary at this division, and he couldn't even dominate a Casamayor who like Corrales was moving up in weight.
Unbeaten Fernando Vargas - The guy had power, but his chin gives in as soon as his heart does. Pretty solid when he was unbeaten though...if he was made to mature a bit more and gain more confidence as he gains boxing experience, he could have been great.
Prime de la Hoya @147 - His best fights was at 147. He beat everyone except a prime unbeaten Mosley at that weight, but he avenged that loss in their rematch. His return to 147 against Pacman should not be looked at as a legit dela Hoya fight at 147, because he wasn't at his prime anymore after the Bernard Hopkins fight...it was downhill from there for dela Hoya.

You think that 130lb Chico beats 160lbs Mayorga?

This is the Mayorga that fought Trinidad. The Mayorga that had a great chin and a very hard punch. But he'd lose to the version of Chico that was knocked down 74 times by Mayweather?
