Where is John Duddy?

He needs a new trainer in my opinion... Or maybe he is just a decent boxer not meant to be a great... Who knows...

I think he is having trouble with his promoter. There May be some sort of legal battle coming

He was supposed to fight clubfighter Sam Hill a few months ago i believe but it was cancelled due to problems between him and his promoter

That was the last i heard

He was supposed to fight Hearns vs Duddy on 1/17, but it got canned because he doesn't like his promoter or some ****.

I just watched some of his old fights - he destroyed the 16-0 Lenord Pierre faster than Kelly Pavlik did.

He looked very impressive at that time, but then he had that difficult fight with Walid Smichet last February.

That or he knows he'd lose to hearns jr, and told his promoter that it is a dumb fight because he can't make that much money off a fight he'd lose in. Hearns Jr has impressed me alot more then Duddy has, and I'd favor Hearns to win that probably by a lop-sided decision win.

where is john duddy? i think his plan is to take it slow, so no one will notice his comeback. amateur plan if you ask me.

good post, and I think that is exactly what Duddy is.

I'm tired of fighters like Duddy who get ****ted on because they are not PBF. Duddy will never be a boring fight; that's enough for me.

Duddy wanted his brains smashed in, he wanted a fight against pavlik so badly because he wanted a big pay check. Hearns Jr won't bring a big paycheck and would probably win.

Duddy would get his brains smashed in by fighters far worse than Pavlik.

Duddy should fight the British domestic guys with Irish heritage. Like Matthew Macklin and Jamie Moore. That's money: right there.

If he is falling out with his promoter, it's because his promoter is a mug.
