At least he got something right, he knew it was a mismatch. (hahahaha)

I completely disagree. After watching Hatton's last fight I think this Hatton under Floyd Sr. is a brand new Rickey Hatton. He moves better, better defence, using his jab better, he has just improved completely. Now having said that, I would need to see more of that from Hatton before I can conclude he has changed, which is why I think Hatton's camp is making a big mistake in taking a Pac-Man fight this early. Hatton's been with Floyd Sr. only one fight and I think he would need to be with Floyd Sr. ONE more fight before taking the biggest fight of his career against Pac.

Hattons last fight was with Paulie who isnt a big puncher anyways. Tell me why would any fighter be worried if his opponents punches feel like love taps?

A brand new Hatton, are you serious? Again, you cant teach an old dog new tricks. Of course Hatton looked good, he was fighting Paulie for heaven sake. Regardless of what Sr. tried to teach Hatton, all that is out the window when he fights Pac. Hatton will resort to his old style and wont even consider what Sr. is telling him when Pac is landing his quick lefts.

But ill tell you what amazes me, the fact that Hatton and Floyd Sr. can understand each other with Hattons accent and Sr's language that us humans still dont understand.

This is one reason why the Roach-Pacquiao tandem keeps getting stronger over the years. There's trust and respect. Unlike some fighters who change trainers like they're changing their underwears. I expect Mr Predator Sr to come up with excess verbiage. It's his forte -- talking out loud. Roach talks dirty because there's nobody in the Team Pacquiao to do it. Manny doesn't even like to predict when he fights. Trash-talking is part of the hype and script. For this stuff, I give Mr Predator a slight edge over Mr Parkinson. However when it comes to the fighters, I pick Manny to KO Hatton in 11.

The Case of style makes fights.

I think Hatton is learning some sound basics from mayweather sr. but at this stage of the game for both fighters its to late to change the foundation of the house, maybe you get a new coat of paint but its the same old house. With that said when hatton gets frustrated and starts to grabbing pacman( rag doll action). And he throws all that new found skill to the wind. I think he will have a much easier time with pacman than people would expect. To tell the truth the only way he losses this fight is standing in the middle of the ring trading with manny, who is too fast and way to skilled to let him get away with that. The only way he stops from getting beat down like dela hoya is to man handle manny, until he says uncle.

                    Hatton will go down

oh please,.......... Review the Hatton-Lazcano fight. Ricky was dazed with the powerless Lazcano in 8th & 10th round.

Cannot even knockout the unexperience Urango. and lastly, cannot even finish Paulie.

Mayweather Sr said, he will dismantle Pacquiao. How ??? easy to say though.

On May 2, Pacquiao will silence the adoring fans of Hatton inside the arena, just like Hoya's fans.
Hatton will go down on the 10th.

I recall an interview with Sr. stating that he'd rather Ricky prepare with two more fights before facing Manny.

Sr. apparently didn't see much of an improvement in Ricky against Paulie, and neither did I and many others.

But, if Floyd can mold a different Ricky into a champ against Manny in a five months period, he can probably continue to refer to himself as the best trainer in the world...

That's if Ricky can erase his memory of the KO he tasted against lil' Floyd
and blasts Manny out in unquestionable fashion under Floyd's tutelage.

A Ricky win could jeopardize a Pacquiao vs Mayweather bout.
