    i wouldnt say cotto quit

he was just defeated, you could tell by the look on his face he just looked completely defeated.

I mean it is one thing if he just outright got out of the ring but he was just completely pummeled by the fight.

I just dont think his fight with margarito should make people think less of cotto cause he really did fight a great fight, he just lost.... but what do i know im just a cotto nuthugger

Yea but I'm still wondering how can people not like him, he's a boxer all around and doesn't show off nor back off in any fights. He's the best and will always be wheather he defeats Margarito or not.

He got the hell beaten out of him. He had nothin left. Had the fight gone on he coulda been ruined. The man lost but fought til he couldn't fight no more.

cotto was defeated, figuratively, literally, morally, spiritually, physically, virtually, theoretically. you name it.

this fight is tricky in trying to label it as him "quitting". on one side of the coin, you can say that people quit when they can keep on but choose not to and on the other side of the coin, you can say that he didnt necessarily quit - he just couldn't keep on physically.

again, it's tricky - either way he got TKOd

It doesn't happen to Margarito! He is half Machine and half Mexican!
The mullet is where he generates all his power from,in order for Cotto
to win he must pay off Margarito's barber to shave his head bald

As much as I love the guy it could even happen to him if he fights past his prime and into old age. The same thing happened to Chavez Sr who's chic was even more unstoppable than Tony's Chin.
