pistol whip and mangler, you two have to be most ignorant people on the planet. If you think Mayweather has a following that strong you need to get a life outside of " BOXINGSCENE". pistol whip, you just proved your ignorance with your statement. you two fools get a life and stop thinkiing all people who are mayweather fans are racist or just as dumb as you two are.Last edited by JHAVIS; 01-03-2009, 01:51 AM.Comment

Brandish isn't racist and this quote proves it..................
you couldn't find ten latino fighters in histroy that could equal the accomplishments of black fighters,
there is no white or latino sugar ray robinson, henry armstrong, muhammad ali, floyd mayeather jr, sugar ray leoanrd, tommy hearns, james toney, roy jones jr, and the list goes on and on
you couldn't find white or latino fighters that dominated like these great champions...not in my our your lifetime

I'm a big mayweather fan and I'm white so "no", I'm not racially sensitive lol.I ask because reading Brandish's posts where he uses the race card every five minutes has really revealed to me that a lot of mayweather fans are blind to the fact that Floyd is simply a Grade A ******* no matter what his skincolor happens to be. Especially since Floyd Mayweather himself is one of the most bigoted people in boxing. In fact his Uncle Roger was a giant biggot during his boxing career and it just seems that for all the talk that comes from the Mayweather camp and his fans they seem to have a real problem with Hispanic and White fighters while they go on and on about the plight of todays black fighters.
So I ask what has the press done during Mayweathers career that implicates them as racists? I would just like some actual examples and not just heresay.
And Mayweather isn't an *******, he's just arrogant. And even his arrogance is more for show than anything else. I doubt very much that he acts like that with the ppl he hangs out with. the thing that ppl don't get is, every fight needs a villain and a good guy, and mayweather has the guts to play the villain. You think if mayweather was nice and respectful to oscar during their press tour that the fight would have done 2.4 mill buys? I doubt it would have even done 1.5 mill.
And if you say that dlh attracted all those buys then you are just blind. Just look at the pac-dlh fight for proof of what happens when there are 2 good guys.Last edited by -Swizzy-; 01-03-2009, 01:59 AM.Comment

WHAT ABOT YOU ***** WHAT?
im just saying, it was the badguy/goodguy thing, but it netted less than 1 Mill buys where as Pac/DLH, goodguy/goodguy netted over 1 Milli.
Also, isn't 24/7 going to get redundant now? We've already had DLH twice, and then Hatton is going to be on twice and if Floyd comes back, twice again. I think they should take some of that 24/7 money and start doing profiles or marketing on the newcomers.Comment

thats an indirect comparison because its basically like saying that hatton and de la hoya are the same. this is how you compare what good vs good and bad vs good does:WHAT ABOT YOU ***** WHAT?

pac-dlh(1.14) vs may-dlh(2.4). and then you compare may-hatton(900k) vs pac-hatton(?).Comment
