Damn son they bringing this kid up like they did with Cotto, feeding him good, solid opponents in his early career.. this dude here got potential, ima be closely following his progress for the years to come.. he's showing very good things and if he can get past Speedy he gets rojas so I hope he pulls it off. they not taking it easy on homeboy man he's well worth the hype, -

I like Gamboa and think the kid is exciting and skilled but that chin of his won't hold up in the big leagues, he is overhyped. But the sad part is that it looks like a soft chin may be his only downfall.Comment

I don't think Gamboa's chin is that bad, but it definitely isn't granite. He has the immense talent to become a great fighter, but he needs to learn from the mistakes he has already made. His defense is leaky put hopefully they patched it up somewhat by now.Comment
