When talking about Floyd, why does everyone assume that he's going to be in the same shape he was in 2007 ?
It seems that almost no on one is taking into account an almost 2 year layoff. Couple that with the fact that Floyd is most likely not going to take a 'tune up' fight before this 'SUPER MEGA FIGHT' and he just might not be the same phenomenal Floyd that we've all witnessed before.
Not saying by any means that Floyd is 'shot' or past his prime, he's a physical specimen, and one of the most naturally gifted fighters of our era, but to assume that he's going to pick right back up where he left of at 33 years old is an ignorant assumption. This of course assuming he fights in the last quarter of this year, barring the outcome of the Hatton-Pacquiao fight.
