Whats good for boxing is great fighters, entertaining characters, people with charisma who know how to work with the media, fighters who attract crowds and ppl at home based on their skill and entertainment level, fighters with punching power who can turn the tide of a fight in the blink of an eye, fighters who unify their division and want to be known as the best, fighters who take on all comers.... all this and more represented Prince Naseem HamedI'm not saying that Hamed couldn't draw a crowd I'm just saying that hes not good for boxing in that his self centered personality tarnishes the image of boxing especially when the youner crowd of society are gravitating to the UFC which for the most part markets their fighters as Blue Collar lunch pale kind of guys and not as british aristoc**** that run over people and could give a **** what happens to them.
simply put he was and still is GOOD for boxing.Comment

Naz was a bad ass!
And we are talking boxing. what the **** has it go to do with him running someone over, that was after he retired. on his boxing skill he was amazing. and i have said more than once.. he would have knocked Barrera the **** out if he had stayed with Ingle.Comment

Did he not know that he could have walked into any barber in any black neighborhood in any city and got that fade for less than $15? When I start accumulating Hamed money, I hope I don't overpay for simple sh it and believe it to be exclusive!Comment

Prince Naseem was a great boxer and showman and made boxing a top sport however as soon as he split with Ingle i think his love for Boxing was reduced compared to his love for the fame and money. He wanted to be a world champion and fight in big main events which he accomplished so he got carried away and got defeated by Barrera. I actually believe a hungry Prince trained by Ingle could have defeated Barerra but it happens in life and Prince in my opinion didn't have the love for boxing he had before he accomplished most his goals.
I think we should seperate the character you see on the TV and the actual people. Prince Naseem's incidents in life have nthing to do with his boxing career and should be kept seperate. He was a ****y or confident guy however you wish to look at it and he did play up to the cameras but i don't he was actually like that as a person when the cameras weren't rolling. I met him twice and he came across as a great guy, different to how he comes across on TV but i have heard the same about Floyd.
The accident that he ran from wasn't because he was being ****y as i believe he got scared and didn't know what to do so panicked and chipped. it was the wrong thing to do but it is a lot easier to talk about the situation then actually being involved in it.Comment

Hamed wanted to be pampered. U dont get that in any black barbers. He wanted the illusion he was royalty, and pay somone to treat him like he wasnt just a gobby little prick.Comment
