Oscar De La Hoya should be making a decision soon on whether he plans to continue his career. Recent reports indicate that Oscar will likely fight again in 2009. In 2008, he faced what appeared to be, on paper, two of the easier opponents on his list of possible options. De La Hoya won a decision over Steve Forbes last May, but took more damage in that fight than he did in his two previous outings against Floyd Mayweather Jr. (2007) and Ricardo Mayorga (2006). In December, Manny Pacquiao, moved up by two divisions from lightweight and handed Oscar a one-sided beating for eight rounds. [details]

How bout just retiring, that should be option number 1. With the build up to The Dream Match that DLH pushed and the embarrassing beat down by Pac, I would be ashamed to be a fan of the man. He let down his people especially his die hard fans and lost alot of respect for quitting. Retire Oscar while you still have your face in order.

Im glad it was put out there for the haters!
"Trinidad has been calling for a rematch for a decade"!!!
Now you hopeless Hoya huggers hop hilariously and hopelessly off Hoyas hairy nuts!
Say that three times over!
Trinidad never avoided the rematch!

Originally posted by dondi330 View PostYeah Ok!..lol Do you realize that Oscar De La Hoya was the first fighter ever robbed going into a fight as a favorite, plus unbeaten, plus the bigger cash cow, plus the more well known, plus had an American gold medal, PLUS IN A STATE WHERE HE HAD MORE FOLLOWERS! (Its not like it was a fight in NJ PA or NY...It was in Las Vegas for crying out loud! Looks like your the one who needs to get over it...you see Hoya had people like you fooled but put it to you like this ...If they fought in the street Hoya would have been layed out on the sidewalk. He knew this and thats why he never gave Trinidad a rematch. The boxer that has probably made the most money in the history of boxing "was worried about how much money he would get for a rematch" ....is he and are you serious? You cant see through that!? YOU AND HIM NEED TO MAN UP!
