i dont knock ricky to much for this performance he was obviously low on confidance after the mayweather fight and he was suffering from a chest infection. he seemed to have improved a fair bit in his last fight agains malignaggi. but there are big question marks over his punch resistance
Without the commentary you would never know that he was in trouble.

In fact show that round to someone who had never seem it before with the sound off and ask them who won the round and 99 out of 100 would say Hatton.

for about 5 seconds he was trying to clinch, but he wasn't in any danger of being stopped like some people try and imply he was.

I can think of 5-6 other fight where he was the same, that what happens when you fight going forward for 3 minutes of every round, sometimes you get caught by a good counter.

Fatton you should of trained for at least a year to beat pacman. Pac defense is his quickness. When fatton tries to bullrush him, pac will send him back with those quick combination. Fatton just has zero defense. Pac ko in 10!

That was more due to the Versus commentary than anything Lazcano managed to do. The commentary was disgraceful in that fight, I don't know what they were thinking. Perhaps they assumed that Hatton was well on his way out and they could preside over the end of his career so they basically fucked any chance they ever had of ever televising a Hatton fight again by being ****s throughout.
