Ask BattheMan, I think it was him who posted the article.... Dawson's team refused to even take an offer at a catch weight....

It was on Mich. Marley's site but I cannot find it anymore.

I don't understand why Dawson didnt want a catchweight fight. After all HE was the one who called out Kessler and a catchweight fight would mean that both would keep the titles. I guess Dawson felt he had unfinished business with 40 year old Tarver I guess.

Seems Dawson called out Kessler at the same time Dawson knew he had to fulfill a rematch clause to Tarver

Think that it will be 2 relatively easy fights against Inkin and Froch.. hoping for Froch, just to shut his mouth for good with a KO!
I like your top 9, but i don't know the UFC guy

Hehe, apparantly not many people know Mirco Crocop, hehe

Try checking him on Youtube, he is mean, and completely onorthdox. I had followed him for about a year. After that he was to meet a K1 world champion (for many seen as the ultimate title in kickboxing) and he not only KO'd him, he taught him a BIG lesson in fighting skills. After that, he lost a title fight, and he has not fought for the past 6 months or so..But do check him out

right now the big name and title holders are not wanting kess, froch and taylor are too busy with each other. out of the 2 i think froch is the one who is more likely to give kess the match-up. as for te others - bute knows he isn't ready after his last showing and inkin ducked froch so imo a fight with kess will be avoided like the plague. besides kess shouldn't bother with inkin, inkin doesn't bring the name or exposure that kess needs or deserves.

imo a fight with bika makes sense. bika is a dangerous fighter with a huge punch, hes physcially as big as kess and is a handful for any fighter at SMW out there. but imo he doesn't more of a risk as other fighters like froch or taylor do.

bika might be dangerous but hes a good fighter, a solid well-known name in the US, would give kess a chance to show his talents and more importantly he has the IBO belt. a unification match up with him would give kess a bit more bargaining leverage when it comes to setting up a fight with the bigger names.

id hate to see kess's talents wasted, imo he needs to get over to the states and take someone on, even if it is a B level fighter.

I'd agree with that actually. Afterall, the loss to Calzaghe hasnt done him any harm in terms of credibility. Quite the opposite actually. Unfortunately it has now marked him out as a high risk, low reward fighter.

I think Kessler should fight froch would be a very good fight after froch's preformance against jean pascal, Both fighters are very heavy hitters would be explosive!!!!! Would also love to see Calslappy go back down to supper middleweight for a rematch against Kessler (But Thats never going to happen)
