****** move on Paul's part imo. There is no benefit to defeating Winky imo. If he wins, people will say that is what he was suppose to do anyway against an aging inactive fighter. If he loses that kind of destroys the aura that Paul has built for himself. I would avoid this fight if I am team Williams.

why are u ppl complaining about this fight....no other big name wants 2 fight pwill, let him fight winky, 2 of the most avoided fighters in the world against each other, and stop complaining that it will be boring, it will be an extremely tactical fight, displaying pure boxing talent, not every fight can be vazquez/marquez. and its not like winky runs away, he stands right in front of his opposition, its just impossible to hit him. if pwill can stop winky, it puts a future hall of famer on his record.
i think paul will win based on winkys inactivity, though il be cheering for winky, hes a very under rated champion.

2 of the most boring boxers going against eachother, bet HBO spends 80 trillion to get this fight. My predicition is 12 boring rounds, williams throws 100 slap punches a round and wright will sit on the ropes with his hands up and counter about every 40 seconds.. Williams will win a boring decision against the 50 year old Winky, who never has won a big match. Winky will then claim he got robbed, pout like a little girl then hopefully retires and Williams will go on claiming he is the best while still living in the past about beating Margarito... has anyone noticed that all of Williams fights suck and are boring as hell.. He even made the Margarito fight boring, and its very hard to make a Margarito fight suck, by holding and running the last few rounds of that fight

whether or not you like PW is 1 thing......to call him boring suggests you haven't watched many of his fights, and also points to your overall lack of knowledge of the sport.....dummy.....

Hilarious the haters are saying Paul jabs his way to victory or his boring. The losers must have never watched one of his fights. Great fight, looking forward to it. Winky doesn't take a lot of damage, and I don't see the time away from the ring being a factor. Winky would most likely school Pavlik at MW. Paul could beat Winky, Pavlik and Abraham this coming year and still get hated on for a "weak MW division". What fight did you watch? Winky put on too much weight for the Hopkins fight. He didn't look in good shape. Hand speed? That fight had holding for twelve rounds. Bernard would hit him twice and grab. Bernard said the fight had to be ugly like that to stop Winky's jab.
