I think it depends on which parts of the USA you're talkin about. In places like Missouri and Louisiana Pacquiao will be a virtual unknown. In California Pacquiao is a common topic of conversation even with non boxing fans because of the large mexican and filipino population.

I still lean more towards Pacquiao being more well known. If for no other reason other than that Pacquiao has been on the 2 most recent itterations of the fight night video game. The gamer population is huge and underrated. Mayweather has not been in a video game since 2001.

I say Pacquiao. Most of the people I know at least have heard of Pacquiao. He's been more active than Mayweather. He's in fight night. Mark Wahlberg, Mickey Roarke, and the Celtics visited Pacquiao during his fights and training. Mario Lopez watches Pacquiao fight. So I say Pacquiao. The exciting fighter that he is has made him a favorite among people in the US and it has also made him much more well known.

Your right, because i stay in Northern California in Stockton and it's nothing but filipinos and mexicans, and i am filipino/mexican. Right now where i am at, Pacman has a edge over pbf. A lot of people talk about pbf but Pacman is the main topic when it comes to boxing in my town.

Floyd by far. The DLH and Hatton fights were some of the most popular fights to date.
            No contest.

Although I like Pac alot more then Floyd, anyone who voted for Pac is bat **** crazy. NOBODY outside of fairly serious boxing fans know who he is. Nobody. Floyd is sort of almost a household name. Well, not really, but still far more known then Manny.
