For Performance of the Year, I go for Hopkins

Yea there Have been some "great" performances this year, but Hopkins takes my vote.

I don't think he got enough credit for the Pavlik win

He's forty ****ing three, 44 on the 15th. Didn't lose a single ****ing round.

    Remember the Hype under Pavlik.

    Great, Great performance

Good thread idea... I was going to do this earlier. I've watched that fight (Hopkins/Pavlik) a couple of times the last couple of days. Wow... what a great job. I still think you can't ignore Pac's job though.

calzaghe's performance against hopkins is my fav of the year. slapping in the general area of your opponent and fooling the judges into thinking you are landing punches. WHAT A PERFORMANCE!

He should get an award for that performance! The problem is Pavlik may lose his belt soon and that could diminish his victory.

This is what is awful about this site. Posts like this. Pavlik is an established champion. Bernard fought an incredible fight. Now we're gonna take it away from him.

De La Hoya's eye was still purple when people started discrediting Pac's win.

                  Enough.

Yea Hopkins moving down 5 pounds. Pavlik moving up 10, even though Pavlik had fought at 164 the very same year.

Plus Hopkins was a much bigger UNDERDOG with the bookies than Pacman was with De La Hoya.
