On the Nacho / Hamed fight, Hamed was in negotiations for unification fight, but when it fell through, they contacted Nacho with a big money offer. Problem was Marquez had just signed the Norwood fight. He wanted out so he could get a crack at Hamed, Nacho said no.

Naz won every Major belt (minus the WBA), and Barrera is a legendary fighter. He fought many former champions and obviously he had to beat current champs in order to win the WBC, IBF and WBO titles.

He got schooled by Barrera, yes. But what about the rest of his career.

one thing though there tough guy, he DIDN'T, instead, he struggled and got booed out the ring in his final fight and then never stepped foot back into the ring again because he knew he was exposed and didn't want to risk being embarrassed again............. barrera, morales, JMM, and who ever, all over came their losses and achieved greatness amongst their peers, hamed just was a showmen with a big punch, nothing more.............

I can't believe I'm supporting xcaret on this. Marquez would beat Hamed worse than Barrera beat Hamed. It woul be so lopsided fans would wonder if Hamed's competition had misled them into believing Hamed was a great fighter. Awful fighters make average ones look great.

Look at Gatti vs Ward. Ward was average at best. Gatti was so easy to hit that Ward looked like a great fighter. People still think Gatti was one of the greatest. He's not.

Hamed is not. Please stop hyping this ugly ****er. He got beat in his prime by Barrera who had just lost to Morales.

Marquez could box Hamed's ears off, but he would get hit and Hamed hits much harder than Norwoord,Pacquiao,Barrera. Marquez would take Hamed to school in a Boxing match, but Hamed would still KO him.

Hamed's power overrides Marquez Boxing ability imo. Especially with Marquez chin.
