at 122-126 , i was a barrera guy and hated hamed back then. trust me. i know.

In his 5 year reign Hamed fought every other top 10 FW bar JMM maybe, since he might not have been top ten at that time.

Morales was fighting at SBW, as was Barrera... Norwood maybe? but he didn't pick up a belt until Vasquez vacated to fight hamed and promtly lost.

Yeah, Hamed made the offer after Marquez lost to Norwood. Marquez then spent the next two years fighting clubfighters, but I think he just wanted to get his confidence back. JMM didn't really come into his own as a fighter until about 3 or 4 years after the offer, so who knows what would've happened. You have to think a prime Marquez outboxes Hamed the same way Barrera did though.

everyone who says hamed fought bums knows ****. In his last 18 fights he fought guys, prior to fighting him, in their previous 6 fights (boxrec stats) managed to accomplish 6 defeats in 108 fights.
