  • Oscar was always a garbage fighter, he didnt beat anybody of note

Pernell Whitaker was old and overrated, the guy got a draw with JCC and JCC is the slowest, pitty pattiest puncher mexican in the sport.
Ike Quartey was a bum who got destoryed by Winky Wright, who else did ODH fight? Hector Camacho? Felix *****? lol

Ok, ODH wasnt your quintessional mexican because he actually had abit of boxing ability. Somehow your typical mexican fighter has no idea how to duck, bob or weave, counterpunch, box etc
All they knows how to do is walk forward, take punches and throw bodyshots and some headpunches.
Everyone knows bodyshots dont work, its just for show to add up on the points. Ali never threw bodyshots and hes arguably the best fighter in his time, that said Ali would of lost today. Wladimer and Vitali would of beat Ali handily, too tall, too big and too much boxing ability.

This is why Manny Pacqicow should'nt be rated P4P in the top 10, his career best win was ODH.

Manny Pac has wins over four Mexican legends. What more do you want?

Hatton sucks balls and will get his ass kicked by manny. Hatton won't land any of his punches on Manny.

He beat Tito. This coming from a Puerto Rican. Although Oscar ran the last 3 rounds, it doesnt take away from what he did the first 9. That fight should've went to Oscar.

Geesh...what more do you want? Manny has a solid resume for beating some top fighters in several divisions and has taken on all challenges. I wonder if you had the same opinion of Pac before the ODLH fight.

Yadda yadda yadda....the record book indicates he lost. I'm probably the only one who says that Oscar lost that fight. Why? Beacuse he did lose that fight. It don't matter what he did the last 9 rounds or whatever. Oscar had the opportunity to take control of the fight and he didn't. Therefore, he lost. I don't think he won that fight at all.

You know, i think the one thing that troubles Oscar the most is his corner. How many trainers has he had in his career? He switches trainers around and around to find the "perfect" chemistry. The truth is, it's really Oscar who needs to find his own chemistry.

I'm not DLH bashing or anything. I'm just keepin it real. Throughout the years, everyone and their momma have been about DLH. Why? Cus of his good looks and his well spoken manners and his etiquette. Not cus of his fighting ability. Fighters gotta have a bit of a mean, dirty, ugly side. I ain't never heard DLH say, "I wanna eat his children". I'm not indicating fighters need to be cave-man and primitive. But they do need to have a mean side.

Take ALI for example. ALI was mean. He was cruel. There was a small streak of evil in him. You could see he took pleasure in bankin on somebody. But at the same time he was a gentleman. And a solider.

Like i said, i'm not hatin on Oscar De La Hoya. I'm just keepin it real. He's not terrible or anything negative. He's just a nice guy. That's all.

Those are the breaks. There are a lot of innocent people in jail too, but that's the way the game goes.

That's the thing. A fighter should never leave it up to the judges. It's his job to decide the outcome. A true warrior takes control of any situation.

DLH ran the last 3 rounds of the Tito fight, cus his corner told him too. Smells like a loss to me. DLH should have banked on him and banked on him and banked on him until Tito surrendered or died. LOL. It ain't personal, it's business.

The point is, a fighter needs to fight with everything he's worth. Everything he's got. All of his heart. DLH clearly didn't do that in the Tito fight (because he evaded a confrontation the last 2 1/2 rounds) if he fought with everything he was worth, he would have gotten the "V".

Like i said. Running for the last 2 /12 - 3 rounds doesnt take away from the rounds u already have in the bank. Im not condoning what Oscar did. It was a ***** move, i agree, but he clearly won 7 rounds in that fight. U win 7/12 rounds, u win the fight.
