Only reason Margarito is sucessfull is because he fight smaller guys, make him fight guys his size and he's just a punching bag with a good chin. I am a Margarito fan and even i know that.

Ok here's how it works:

Margarito is a good welterweight based on his size, strength advantages, his power and his chin. He is a good solid fighter, nothing near a great boxer.

The problem is, when moving up to 160-168, his obvious advantages go away. He doesnt have the skill to make up for what he would lack in size and strength at those divisions. He would have to fight on pure heart and desire. Not a good way to go into a fight against naturally bigger stronger and much more powerful men. There is reason there are weight classes.

Im not hating on him Im just giving my viewpoint.

So Cotto at 5´7" and had not weighted more than 1 time, 155 for hiss fights and he is the same size as Pavlik and Taylor, hell he is not even Margaritos size. So get the hell out here!!!!!!
