Margarito will stop cotto even faster than before

Theres a reason why Margarito welded his arms to his ribcage and let Cotto hit his face at will. If Cotto lands one big left hook to Margaritos ribcage, i guarantee you Margo will go down.

Most of Margs fans dont know that Marg goes down from bodyshots with ease.

I think Margarito fans who think he's going to go for the KO from the opening bell will be sorry if he tries that. Margarito won the first fight starting slow and building pace throughout the fight, wearing Cotto down. To think that he can just walk through Cotto in the first couple rounds is rediculous. Cotto was and still is a P4P fighter with amazing abilities and to underestimate him would be a huge mistake.

That being said, I am a Cotto fan and I still favor Margarito in this fight. What I'm saying is that it would be dumb for Margs to follow the strategies that people are talking about in this thread.

I actually also believe that its very possible that Margarito will get an even earlier stoppage this time around. He will be coming into the fight with an extra amount of confidence knowing that he can take Cotto's best shots, and also knowing that he can, and has stopped him before.

this fight can definately go either way but i think margarito will walk through cottos punches with the same intensity he did in the first match because the mexico-puerto rico rivalry is still there he wont stop him early in the match because cotto is too good but he will b stopped margaritos power is too much for cotto

Cotto will need to have a perfect fight in order to last the distance. That said, if he somehow manages to do so he should probably take the decision.

How any of you keep saying that Cotto's mistake was trying to "KO Tony" is beyond human comprehension and lack of plain and basic common sense. Cotto was on his bike and counterpunched Tony pretty much the whole fight, simple as that, just because he threw the crispier combinations does that mean he was trying to KO Tony?? are you people demented? Listen, Cotto is getting his **** pushed in a second time and it will be quicker and bloodier than the first fight. There is absolutely nothing Cotto could of done differently in that fight to try to win, and by no miracle he is going to come up with a better strategy to win the rematch. Tony in 6 by TKO.
