elwills: Pac wasn't sitting down fully on his shots against Oscar, he was constantly moving, and this of course was the plan because there was always the possibility of Oscar landing something heavy, despite the fact that he was taking a shellacking. Pac couldn't take that risk of committing 100% to power shots, he was very wise to stick to the game plan. When you're moving and staying elusive, of course you're not gonna sit down 100% on your punches. I don't think Oscar felt Pac's full power, Pac was content just to break him down and get him to quit.

Who cares if he's not blasting people out? He what he needs to do to get the job done and looks very impressive doing it.

No need to analyze so much...the thread is about whether Pac will KO Hatton in the first round. I'm saying it won't happen because he doesn't blast people out in the early rounds like he did at lower weights

I agree that he won't KO Hatton in the first, but the point still stands. You were saying that it took him 9 rounds to KO Diaz and he couldn't KO Oscar. I'm saying he wasn't really trying for the KO anyway, speed and mobility was the key to beating them.

whatever...I was saying Pac doesn't KO opponents early anymore, whether he tries to or not
