A man whose job is training others to fight for themselves now faces charges of sexual assault on a 21-year-old student.

It's alleged that incidents occurred between February 1 and December 24, 2008.

Adrian Teodorescu, 65, of Toronto, is charged with forcible confinement, eight counts of sexual assault, threatening death, assault and criminal harassment.

He made his first court appearance on Monday and police have reason to believe there may be other victims.
