I personally I would like him in a fight with Tito at 170 or Dawson.(But thats just my personal likes). As far as if he needs to fight anybody else, no. He have a decent resume and he beated hopkins at his best, You can say that Hopkins is 43 this and that, but this 43 Hopkins is better than a young Hopkins, plus the fact tha Joe is Old as **** too. RJJ is shot thats a fact, but still styles make fights and Joe would of beat a prime Jones. If anything he should fight Dawson to shut the haters up!!!!!!

If his heart isn't in it then I want him to retire. Nothing sadder than a legend fighting on past their prime for nothing more than a paycheck.

If it isn't, then Dawson or Hopkins rematch. Anything else is worthless legacywise. Although a shot at CW could be interesting.

i would love to see JC take on dawson and then johnson. he seems capable of going trhough 2 more traing camps physically but mentally only joe knows if he has the drive and motivation. if he doesn't then leave it and walk away.

btw agree with champboxPR that JC would have beat prime RJJ, i just think JC has too much actity ad RJJ doesn't have the tactics that hopkins has to slow him down. i mean for a WW to throw 1000 punches is good but for a LGW to throw that many is just astonishing.

Lets be serious, a prime Jones beats Calzaghe and that's not even that hard to figure out. I respect opinions, but that was just ridiculous. Even when they just fought, you could see how a prime Jones would exploit Joe. I seen so many openings that Joe gave and Roy at his best had the ability and style to take advantage of those. When Jones would let his hands go, then the fight would be his and Joe didn't even throw back in those exchanges because when somone is punching that fast in combo's, then you have to think twice about opening up..He could have actually pulled it off if he had just a little more stamina and timing.

I agree that Prime Jones beats Prime Calzaghe but it wouldn't be a one sided fight, Joe might not have the resume of an ATG but he has all the attributes of one.

It wouldn't be easy at all and one of the reasons is because Joe is a southpaw and is fast also. With that being said, a prime Jones had all of the advantage and then some. Joe's speed and work rate would be neutralized by Jones's lateral movement and mixture of power and speed. He would be way too much and lets not forget that a close to prime Joe had to get off of the canvas against a faded Jones. Prime for prime i see it being not one sided but not that close either.

Love to see him take on his close domestic rival in Carl froch but we have to understand that Joe C is 37 and might need to retire.

He is done, he has nothing else to prove. The only people who still doubt him are (some, not all) narrow minded American fans who won't even give him credit even if he beats all the fighters they put infront of him. There will always be an excuse and always be another up and comer who they think will beat him.
