why is pacman beibg praised for the same things floyd is hated for

he picked up a belt at 135 after destroying diaz=floyd getting a belt at 140 after destroying gatti

he went to 147 beat oscar=floyd going to 154 beating oscar

now hes going to 140 to fight hatton=floyd fighting hatton at 147

floyd is hated because he's floyd..otherwise explain

Humility. It's hard not to like Pacman, it's very easy to dislike Floyd no matter what he accomplished.

i dont recall pacquiao retiring, then unretiring, then retiring again

i also dont recall any claims from manny that he's greatest of all time

but those are just MY reasons...larry has a decent point

Didn't know floyd started out at 106 as a limited one dimensional fighter

lets put it in perspective, it would be like James Kirkland moving up to LHW, changing up his style to be more of a slick boxer and being INCREDIBLY effective with it, winning a belt, then going to CW and DOMINATING the same way.

Manny didn't come up having all the attributes Floyd did, yet he was able to do it in a more impressive fashion.

and Floyd was the favorite over DLH, who was the favorite in DLH/Pacquiao?

People try to hide behind saying they dislike Floyd because he said he is the greatest, but they hated him before he started saying that a few years back, so dont try and hide behind that statement. Pretty easy for me to see, his whole retiring thing and coming back is to make him a greater stature in boxing, it worked for Leonard, Floyd is trying to do the same.

Doesn't really matter. Floyd is always the victim. No one is every objective when it comes to Floyd. We should all get together and get Floyd on Oprah so yall can feel better.
