Gotta disagree with my boy El D on this one. I love boxing, always will. But there's no question mma is way hotter then boxing right now. Boxing will always have its huge mega fights, but great fights like Diaz-Marquez etc. basically get no love from mainstream fans or media. MMA is a fight, boxing is boxing. Both are great, both are different then each other, both can co-exist without insecure ***** ass fans whining like hoes. Also, for everybody that mentions gay grappling (grappling would finish any street fight just as fast as a right hand to the jaw without a risk of taking damage), I suggest you learn about muay thai and kickboxing.

It's a lot harder to have to look out for leg kicks, kicks to the liver and spleen, and kicks taking your head off WHILE also being wary of punches, knees and elbows. No question an elite kickboxer would beat an elite boxer in a straight up striking match. Boxing is THE ART of the hands and defense, and no mma fighters come close to having that boxing. BUT when it comes to a well rounded FIGHT game or well rounded strikes involving all weapons, it's obvious mma fighters excel there. Stop hating *******.

Nothing against it...just that we get alot of negative crap after a huge PPV...UFC came up putting down boxing. I shouldn't hate UFC for that but I believe we should hit em back...which hasn't happend. Remember that commercial that said "Wrestling FAKE, Boxing USED TO BE REAL, and bla bla something UFC" Can't remember how it wen't. I've never liked their way of advertising

I'm a fan of Fedor...I LOVE his quick execution. He doesn't waste time. I'm gonna give UFC another chance. From what I heard they have the best card, the best face the best and boxing should take some advice from it. That I will agree with

b)The fact that MMA is rising with a huge fan base
c)The fact that you think it's a fad and will fade soon
d)The idea that a boxer can beat an MMA fighter in MMA and vice-versa
