    Klitschko to face Arreola?

    Klitschko to face Arreola?

    Sunday, December 28 2008

    By Alexey Potapov

Word is IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (52-3, 46 KOs) may face unbeaten IBF #2 rated Chris Arreola (26-0, 23 KOs) in his next bout in April or May. The fight would most likely take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. If victorious, the Ukrainian champion is then obliged to fight against IBF mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin (16-0, 12 KOs) by September 13th.

If Corrie Sanders can pull it off, so can Chris. Stay sharp and focused and prepare for that jab and right hand. Thats close to all that Vlad has.

Vlad can tea-off on stationary guys, so work on more then standing toe to toe and arreolda should be ok.

Arreola is sloppy, not very good

This fight will make Tony Thompson look like Joe Frazier compared to Arreola. Arreola can't make it 3 rounds with a Klitschko. The power of Travis Walker startled him and put him down. Well, this ain't Travis Walker.

Should be a decent fight. I can picture Arreola landing and possibly hurting Wlad, but Wladimir should be able to win this fight pretty handily.

Arreola doesn't have nearly the handspeed that Sanders did. He absolutely isn't ready for a giant leap in class like this.

This will likely be a good one to watch.

Wladimir will win, but Arreola will put up a better fight than Rahman.

I just hope it happens in say, early April, so to give Wlad time to fight Povetkin in summer and then have a third fight late in the year.

                    This is a fair assessment...

I hope this fight happens because with Arreola gaining some notoriety a match-up between the two should help the Heavyweight division gain more credibility.
